Warren
Printing & Mailing, Inc. will be happy to provide you with
an FTP account to transfer files to us. This option is very useful
to some clients who wish to transfer very large files or transfer
multiple files.
To use FTP, please follow the steps below:
1. Email or call
us to set up your personal FTP account. (For security considerations,
we do not offer anonymous FTP)
2. Once you receive your FTP login and password, you will need
to configure your FTP client program as follows:
FTP domain: ftp.print-mail.com
Login: [your login
name]
Password: [your password]
If you do not currently have an FTP client installed on your computer
you should download one of any number of programs available. A
couple recommended programs are CuteFTP
(Available for PC and MAC) and SmartFTP
(PC only). Though any standard FTP client should work.
3. If you have a firewall, you may need to configure your data
connection type to Passive (PASV) mode. This setting can usually
be found in the General Options or Preferences menu of your FTP
client. Contact your network administrator to find out if this
is necessary.
4. You're done! You should now be able to connect to our FTP server
(24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and upload files into your directory.
Note: if you have problems connecting you may need to ask your
network administrator if you are running a proxy server as this
may affect your ability to connect. If you continue to have problems,
please email or
call us and we will be happy to help you get set up.
